A very long story and seemed to take more than a month to read.
After getting most main characters into deep trouble final few pages tells what happened to all in the future, with a good and surprising ending.

Hamlet
Hamlet
written by William Shakespeare (1599-1602)
Started reading 3/11/2015
Completed reading 3/13/2015
A fast read. It is written as a play with instructions for the players.
Not as good as reading a novel or historical story.
Probably much more appreciated if viewing a real live play with live characters.
Most of the characters are dead at the end.

DECISIVE -
How to Make Better Choices in Life and Work
By Chip Heath and Dan Heath (Published in 2013)
Started reading 2/18/2015
Completed reading 3/1/2015
WRAP
1. W = Widen Your Options
2. R = Reality Test Your Assumptions
3. A. = Attain Distance Before Deciding
4. P. = Prepare To Be Wrong
Great suggestions for decision making and success.
Already used it for 3 small personal decisions:
- Purchase of a new microwave oven
- Changes in cable TV service
- Purchase of computer software.
Comments re two items in the book.
1. Claim that investing in ETF's is much better than in mutual funds.
I find the alternate to be true, no load mutual funds are equal or better.
2. Write always uses "she" or "her" when referring to a person.
There are ways to avoid doing that in this day and age.

Started to read 2/11/2015.
Finished reading 3/11/2015.
Flaubert is a great writer.
All events, people, homes, cities, country side, etc are very well described.
Living in France in those days is much appreciated when we read about it today.
Not a happy ending but such is life.

Anna Karenina
Anna Karenina
by Leo Tolstoy
Published in 1878, 864 pages.
Started reading on December 2, 2014
Finished reading on February 11, 2015
Fantastic and involved story by a very outstanding author.
A little puzzled by many French phrases in conversations.
I assume original book was in Russian language and this was an English translation.
One explanation is that upper Russian society knew and understood French.
They often used French in their conversations so that their household help or other persons would not understand their discussions.
This was my first book on the list of 10 Greatest Books Ever, according to 125 top authors. Most can be downloaded for free or read online.
War and Peace and Adventures of Huckleberry Finn previously read long ago.
So 8 more to go. Next is Madame Bovary by Gustave Flaubert.
